About Robinia Wooden Play Equipment

The playground equipment is primarily made of Robinia wood which is a type of wood with unique properties of strength and durability. The Robinia trunks consist almost exclusivley of core wood which is one of the most durable of all types of wood. Robinia is the heaviest wood in Europe and its strong but smooth surface makes it ideal for playgorund equipment. Like the products from the KOMPAN Nature series, the products are made from rustic hardwood - this means that the tree does not rot or give the user splinters - and are also vandal resistant.
