Wych Elm Drive

Leamington Spa

Warwick wanted a design that would sit comfortably within the back drop of trees and provide the best play value for money for the younger age ranges.

Project Brief
The Council asked that the existing play equipment be removed and the bark and fenced areas be extended to create a larger footprint to meet the adjacent footpath and provide a second entry gate. The Council were keen to maximise the play value within the small area available and create a facility with a focal multi play unit and additional items with use of colours that would be in keeping with the coppice backdrop. The Council also preferred products that were robust and resistant to vandalism.

The Result
KOMPAN provided natural bark surfacing to keep within the look of the surrounding landscape. The design included using a pallet of green to improve the aesthetic of the site and fit within the environment. The central multi play item offered excellent value for money ensuring key play features and challenge was incorporated appropriate to the age range. Additional items including Carousel Roundabout, Spica Spinner, Multi Seat Springers and Swings adding a varied complement of play values.

"KOMPAN remain a preferred supplier as this another successful play space delivered on time showing their capabilities of creative, sympathetic design. They have an excellent range and quality of play equipment proving great value for money"

We are very pleased with the result; the Kompan installation team were very attentive and I have no hesitation in recommending Kompan as we look forward to working with them again very soon"
